House Facilities – Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House

At the Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House, we offer the following:

Transportation
We have 3 vehicles available for booking and also a 12 seater bus
Training Room
A large training room is available with Audio Visual equipment (data projector and audio capabilities) for meetings and also WiFi available for video conferencing.
History Room
Preserving the history of Fingal, the Valley and surrounds. We have also acquired the St Patricks and Esk Valley Historical Society collection.
Library
Our community library – come and browse and read a book at your leisure.
Op Shop
drop in and pick up a bargin. Browse through clothes, electrical items, bric-a-brac, books and more!
Play Centre
Open on Mondays during the school terms for children aged 2-5 years.
Venue Hire

The Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House cherishes lutruwita (Tasmania) Aboriginal land, sea and waterways and acknowledges, with deep respect the traditional owners of these places. We acknowledge that it is a privilege to live on Country and walk in the footsteps of those before us.
Beneath the mountain, among the gums and waterways that continue to run through the veins of the Tasmanian Aboriginal community.
We pay respect to elders past and present and to the many Aboriginal people that did not make elder status and to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community that continue to care for Country.
As an organisation, we recognise a history of truth which acknowledges the impacts of invasion and colonisation upon Aboriginal people resulting in the forcible removal from their lands.
